Midge Hall signal box (BR (LMR), 1972) Midge Hall signal box was opened in 1972, replacing a much earlier box diagonally opposite on the platform end of the now-closed station. The box was installed as part of the WCML's re-signalling and was a fringe box from the new state-of-the-art Preston PSB.
