I feel that the East Midlands Trains livery applied to the elderly HSTs really suits them and is far better than the dull FGW paint scheme applied to the ones operating in and out of Paddington. Leading, 43046 makes a fine sight as the 17.28 Nottingham to St. Pancras service passes Harrowden Junction. As a fare-paying passenger, I would infinitely prefer making this journey in a Mk. III coach rather than on-board a Meridian with their underfloor engines spoiling the ambience.
