Apart from a spell late in its pre-preservation life at the Snowdon Colliery in Kent, it was and remains today an eastern region locomotive. It joined the NNR in 1982 and has remained since being directly owned by the M&GN Society. It is seen at Sheringham shunting some stock around towards the end of the working day.
