92010, CS 20.45 Inverness, 21.43 Aberdeen & 19.50 Fort William (1M16, 3L), between Roade & Ashton
With the rising sun just giving enough light, the 'Highland'
sleeper is seen passing between Roade and Ashton. A smartly turned out 92010 leads a decidedly dirty and work-stained set of stock forming the 20.45 Inverness/21.43 Aberdeen and 19.50 Fort William 1M16 sleeper with its passengers beginning to stir with just forty-five minutes before arrival into Euston. I was glad of the sun on my back as it was a really chilly start to the day with a little grass frost.
