The 11.23 Carnforth to Southall 5V42 empty stock move is seen passing through Roade cutting from Hyde Road bridge. More unusually, the stock is double-headed rather than being top and tailed which is normally the case. 57009 'GJ Churchward' is leading with 47848 tucked in behind.
