Acton Wells Junction is impossible to access lineside buried as it is on the suburban expanses of west London. The nearest that I got to it was in November 1979, see...https://www.ontheupfast.com/p/21936chg/27444279404/acton-well-junction-signal-box-signals but an opportunity from the passing Westbury Wizzo charter means that it is in the bag. The box is a North London structure dating from approximately 1882 but has been considerably modified with UPVC cladding and windows.
