I have seen discussion that this stricture is a former

signal box on Salisbury station and it certainly looks like one. However, I am not at all convinced as it has no windows or evidence that there were windows t the upper level. I have also to find any information about the structure in the Signalling Records Society book or in the internet; can anybody advise? All I do know is that the swifts were making the best use of it now with many nests under the eves.
