Next to it, 801230 will leave just after the IC225 working the 09.06 to York. In the last half half and hour that I spent at King's Cross I observed no fewer than three IC225 sets in operation. I remember saying back in 2019 when the Azumas entered service that the IC225s would be sorely missed but here we are some five years later and they are still very much in frontline service!
