As is often the case the sleeper services arrive early as pathing is generous and with the passengers in no rush to exit the train. Led by 92014 the 1M16 Highland service arrives at Euston some sixteen minutes ahead of schedule just catching some morning sunshine. As with the Lowland service that arrived about an hour and a half earlier passengers are allowed to remain in the seat or berths for some time as they come to! I like observing the passengers who do alight on arrival. It's reminiscent of a night flight arrival at an airport but with none of the bother of baggage reclaim, passport control and customs!
