We both travelled on this train as far as Liverpool South Parkway enjoying getting some miles in on what are now the oldest operation units on the national network (excluding the the TfL 1972/3 underground stock). We were advised that due to continuing problems with the Class 777 uints the Class 507s will be in service until the early autumn.
