To the left 507029 will work the 15.42 service to Hunts Cross whilst to the right 507017 and 507001 will soon leave working the 15.27 to Hunts Cross. Andy and I travelled aboard the 15.27 all the way back to Liverpool South Parkway to pick up the car and continue our journey north. This will almost certainly be my last journey on one of these venerable units that have been in operation from new around Merseyside for forty-three years now.
