Whilst using a vending machine in the waiting room this unit rolled in so Andy managed a cool drink whilst there was no time for me to get mine with a trip aboard 507018 trumping it! We travelled on the 14.21 Hunts Cross to Southport service from here at Sandhills to its destination. The contrast between our journies on the Class 777s with this forty-five-year-old train was marked but were the new ones any better; I'm not so sure.
