The sight of a Northern Class 150 on the up

fast line of the WCML is not something seen every day! 150454 is seen passing Roade on the up fast due to the planned closure of the slow lines through Northampton having almost completed its journey as the 5H70 09.36 Heaton TMD (Newcastle) to Wolverton Centre Sidings. There have been a number of these moves bringing the Northern units south for repair work largely relating to corrosion damage rather than a complete overhaul. They seem to spend about a month at Wolverton before returning.
