Freightliner's 90006 leads 90015 through Roade cutting taken from the

village's Hyde Road bridge working the daily 03.14 Garston to Felixstowe North 4L97 service. Up until a few years ago, this service was in the hands of the venerable Class 86s before their withdrawal. But now it is the far newer Class 90s which are being withdrawn whittling the class down to less than half of what they were. Admittedly, the majority of these scrap locomotives have been in store in various states of disrepair for many years pending a decision on their future.
