The 15.53 Barnham to Bogor Regis service approaches its destination worked by 313213. Whilst the platforms at Bognor are long enough harking back to the days when seaside excursions would have been accommodated with the servicing platforms to the right being even longer. These are used in the night to perform light servicing and cleaning of units ready to go out in the morning heading, largely towards London. The superb Southern Type 13 signal box seen to the right was built in 1938 and is still in full operation today; but for how long I wonder before Network Rail re-signals the area.
