Havant signal box (LBSC, c.1876)
The boarded-up and rather sad-looking Havant signal box was built for the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway circa 1876 being extended by the Southern Railway in 1938. However, despite close examination, I cannot see where the extension was added as is often the case given away by, for example, a change in brickwork. There are continuing efforts to put the box to community use but as yet, nothing has come of this.
