Formally named Aldershot A signal box the box became just Aldershot on the closure of the B box in 1977. This box, along with Ash Vale and Farnham is due to close this year with control of signalling moving to the Woking signalling centre. The box is a typically styled London and South Western box with its characteristic pyramidal-hipped roof. Notice struggling Aldershot Town Football Club beyond the box looking like it is going to relegated from the football league at the end of the season.
