Following the depositing of more of HS2's huge amount of tunnelled waste in a huge former quarry just outside of Rugby the empty wagons return south again. The 4R98 10.59 New Bilton to Willesden Eusrotunnel passes through Roade cutting led by Freightliner's 66544. These trains, as seen here, are relatively short at about fifteen wagons which seems a little bit of a wasted opportunity to me, perhaps it has to do with the relatively short headshunt at New Bilton where the spoil is unloaded. Incidentally, this headshunt is the remains of the former L&NWR route to Leamington via Dunchurch and Marton Junction
