Having arrived as the 07.18 from St. Pancras the crew of 360109 check the rear of their train at Corby station before making their way to the other end for its return to London. In this view, the 2009 station is seen to the left of the photograph with the original 1879 Midland platform still extant to the right. There are discussions to possibly reopen the down platform and also to build a footbridge permitting passengers and pedestrians to cross the line and access to the western side of the line where there is a school, a large territory college and the town centre. It's a shame that this was not thought about until the wires arrived in 2021!
