67021 & 90028, stabled, Edinburgh Waverley station A couple of EWS beauties basking in the spring sunshine at the eastern end of Edinburgh Waverley station! I am open to correction on this but I think that 67021 to the left was acting as a Thunderbird ready to rescue any trains that got into trouble on the double-track ECML south of Edinburgh. 90028 will have worked the previous night's down Caledonian Sleeper service from Euston. Tonight it will return south again with the up Highland service once the three portions arrive from Fort William, Inverness and Aberdeen, hopefully, all relatively on time avoiding onward delays!
