From this angle, the cut-down loading gauge of Peckett 2104 is clear to see when compared to the Mk. I coach that it is pushing. It was built like this, along with two others (2103 and 2105), to work at Croydon power station in South London, something that it did from 1948 until superseded by diesels in the 1960s. The Peckett is approaching Pitsford and Brampton station working the 12.20 return Easter special service.
