The train is on the up fast line thus avoiding Northampton due to this day being another in a long line of strike days blighting our beleaguered railways; come along unions and employers, talk for goodness sake. The train will run to Ipswich using AC power to then be hauled down to Felixstowe probably by a Class 66. As an aside, can anybody out there please tell me what the SS stands for as in Ipswich SS?
