Future junction point, entry to Sergo Logistics Park, Milton Malsor
After the slow lines between Northampton and Hanslope Junction being completely closed for over a week I was expected to find some nice new shiny pointwork installed here at Milton Malsor to connect the Sergo Logistics Park to the network. Whilst this may have happened at the southern end to which access was not possible there is limited evidence of work here at the northern end. The marker post reads 62 miles and 44 chains and will be the official mileage of the junction once it is installed here with Freightliner and intermodal trains entering and leaving the Logistics Park. Notice the two buildings on the skyline, to the right is the Danes Camp leisure centre and to the left is the unusual spire of St Benedict's Church high up on Hunsbury Hill.
