The bricked-up entrance to Falsgrave tunnel is seen at the

far end of Scarorough's extraordinarily long excursion platform. The short but sharply curved tunnel led to Scarborough's Good's station the site of which is now occupied by a Sainsbury's store. Beyond the Good's station, the line continued along the coast offering superb views to the passengers to Whitby via Robin Hood Bay.
