Concourse, Bridlington station
Whilst the station in Bridlington opened in 1846 the delightful covered concourse was not constructed until the station was expanded in 1912. A real effort has been made to make the station a welcoming place and shows what can be done when people care about their local resources. Whilst the rooms on either side of the concourse are no longer in railway use local interest groups such as charities and an arts group make full use of them.
