The power and capabilities of a modern digital camera are shown to best effect in this image. In darkness at the southern end of Peterborough station LUMO's 803003 passes through working the 20.27 King's Cross to Edinburgh service whilst Andy seeks to collect the coach numbers on his newly acquired dictaphone. Admittedly, the train was heavily checked by a number of late-running LNER Azuma services so it was actually at a little above walking pace! Notice one of Peterborough's landmarks, the 1913 built Crescent bridge illuminated above the railway to the south of the station.
