Former goods shed & trackbed, Cowbit Looking south at Cowbit sees the former goods shed to the left with the gable end of the signal box in the middle distance. The trackbed of the former GN & GE Joint line ran to the centre right where the building work is taking place. Travelling south on the line ended up at March whilst behind me it Spalding was only a few miles away. If the line had not been closed in 1982 by BR just consider what a significant route it would now be for freight to and from the East Coast ports as well as passenger diversions.
