Former Postland signal box (GN, 1882) A view of the rear of the former Great Northern Postalnd signal box dating from 1882. It remains in a dreadful state looking as if the roof will collapse at any time with the brickwork not far behind. It is really in desperate need of somebody taking it on and dismantling it brick by brick to then rebuild it in all its original glory. Is that brave person out there I wonder?
