The rear of the 04.26 Wembley Yard to Widness Transport

Tech. passes between Roade and Ashton in Northamptonshire at a very slow pace and on the down fast but it was not even six in the morning so there was much other traffic about. Out of sight in front of the barrier coaches was South West Trains' 450253 heading north for attention at Alstom's Widness facility. To date, this is probably the most unusual working that I have photographed this year; we'll see what the remaining five months will bring!
