with the sun having just raised itself above the horizon behind me a train that I have very few photographs of passes the countryside between Roade and Ashton in south Northamptonshire. The 1M11 or 'lowland' sleeper leaves Glasgow and Edinburgh as two separate services within a few minutes of each other coming together to form one long train to Euston at Carstairs Junction. On this particular morning, it is led by CS' 92018 that, like the stock, is doing its best to camouflage itself against the background!
