Could this be my final HST service train journey? CrossCountry's 43378 arrives at Bristol Parkway working the 15.27 Plymouth to Leeds service. Andy and I boarded the Mk. III coach to enjoy a little luxury, soft seating aligned with a window, and a quiet ambience with no obtrusive drum from an engine beneath the floor! The train made good time arriving at New Street on time after cresting Lickey at a laudable thirty-nine miles per hour (according to my 'phone app). I have not photographed this power car very much but I did back on a summer's day in 2015, see..... https://www.ontheupfast.com/p/21936chg/28610910204/x43378-12-25-plymouth-glasgow-central
