66506, 12.41 DIRFT-Tilbury (4L48, 178L), site of Roade station
Not the greatest composition is shown in this photograph but
I was totally caught out by the passing of the 4L48 Tesco Express that was running nearly four hours late! The cause of the extensive delay could be a failure of one of DRS' locomotives that usually haul this service with them having to muster a replacement form somewhere or another. 66506 'Crewe Regeneration' hauls the beleaguered 12.41 DIRFT to Tilbury that eventually arrived some one hundred and seventy-eight minutes late past the site of Roade's former station.
