Andy walks along the remains of one of the six

stations and halts that once blessed the Nickey Line between Harpenden and Hemel Hempstead. Roundwood halt was only open for twenty years between 1927 and 1947 built to serve the much anticipated northern expansion of Harpenden. This did not happen at this time with the war playing its part but today it very much has but too late for the line to be part of! This was the only piece of station infrastructure observed on the line.
