Commemorative plaque, 91110, GR 17.03 London King's Cross-Leeds (1D23, 14L), London King's Cross station
91110 has become a deserved celebrity member of the once
thirty-one-strong fleet of locomotives that became synonymous with the ECML hauling its express trains since entering service in 1988. As well as carrying this plaque commemorating its speed record it is also livered and branded as Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. I suspect that as one of the handfuls of IC225s that remain in service when the curtain comes down that this one will enter preservation.
