In what is probably not even half light at 07.01 LSL's 90001 ‘Wolf of Badenoch’ passes Old Linslade just north of Leighton Buzzard. I was delighted that the AC electric was leading instead of the advertised Class 47 as if this had been the case it would have probably been indiscernible from the background. The camera has really had its work cut out, aided by some Photoshop jiggery-pokery, to capture the outward leg of 'The Golden Arrow' charter that left Birmingham International at 05.22 and was heading to Canterbury West with steam in the form of 34046 'Braunton' taking over in Acton Yard.
