The blurring of the British Railways regions was evident at Codford located between Salisbury and Westbury. Whilst the signalling was very much GWR with lower quadrants and a superb typically styled box there was evidence of the change to it becoming part of the Southern Region. Attached to a fence adjacent to the box was this small BR (Southern) non-flanged enemal. Items such as this frequently come up at memorabilia auctions with prices very much in the ascendency.
