Aventra 710266 is seen just prior to departure at Euston's platform nine working the 14.15 service to Watford Junction. These units look to me more reminiscent of some sort of continental metro train rather than a heavyweight service train not helped by their lack of a hi-viz yellow front end. Introduced in May 2019 (after the inevitable and customary delays) the fifty-four Class 710s have proved a successful design being, effectively, an overground underground train!
