Dorset 7F works hard on the slippery rails leading the 10.00 Sheringham to Holt service on 20th October 2022. Approaching its hundredth birthday in 2025 the locomotive is a stalwart on the North Norfolk Railway regularly hauling trains throughout the seasons. Notice the burnt embankment of the cutting that is already beginning to recover following a fire due, in no small part, to the long, hot and dry summer that had just passed.
