395013, SE 09.55 Margate-London St. Pancras (1J25, 23L), London St. Pancras station I have taken photographs in and around St. Pancras station over many years but have yet to get in on the SouthEastern platforms. Having tapped in to gain access to the platforms I managed a standard three-quarter view of Javelin 395013 'Hornby Visitor Centre'. The unit had worked in as the 09.55 from Margate and would soon be returning out via east London. These handsome units were introduced back in 2009 and marked a step change for the customers of the southeast bringing whole new levels of speed and service. However, their full capabilities have not quite been exploited with their speed a little stymied on the old lines of Kent! In addition, I have yet to travel on one of these trains but that was about to change.......
