The sixth and newest crossing of Roade cutting is in

place. Over the previous weekend the second pair of giant pre-made girders were lifted in during a Saturday night/Sunday morning pocession. Over the coming year, Roade's new bypass will be constructed and will cross the cutting perhaps providing an additional photographic vantage point. However, I suspect that in common practice with bridges today that it will have ridiculously sized parapets that will prevent any view of what lies below.
