The Deltic will soon once again be firing up its twin Napier D18-25 engines creating a heated roar behind the cab! Studying the cab controls the simple and somewhat archaic layout with very few dials and controls is a marked comparison to the interior of a modern train cab. I suppose the way in which it could be put into perspective is to compare the controls of a modern-day car with one from the 1960s.
