The view from the returning shuttle train affords a wide

angled view of Barrow Hill's site and much of the stock on display. The large building in the centre is the home to the Deltic Preservation Society. Also, notice the smartly painted Midland signal box to the right. Whilst it is positioned appearing to control the entry and exit to the yard's roads it is in fact a dummy box with no plans for it to become operational.
