Allotted the reporting number 1Z56 I suspected that the 08.02 Willesden to Cahaddesden (Derby) light engine move may well be a Grid! I was right, running bang-on-time 56091 'Driver Wayne Gaskell' passes the site of Roade station on the down slow line. Dating from June 1981 the Class 56 was one of the later built Doncaster locomotives hence its survival when compared to the Romanian-built examples most it which rusted away into an oblivion!
