47813 outward leg of The Cheshireman, 06.39 London Euston-Chester (1Z86, 3E), site of Roade station 
 Doing what appeared to be nearly all the work at the rear of the train 47813 propels the Cheshireman charter from Euston to Chester with 6233 'Duchess of Sutherland' doing very little at the front (out of sight in this photograph). This was dues to the run of very dry weather over the last month or so meaning that lineside vegetation was at risk, but at least this would have done Network Rail's job for them!
