On arrival at a very hot Euston station, I turned my camera to the train that we had just arrived on as we walked up the platform ramp. We had travelled on the 1A12 10.35 Manchester to Euston service from Milton Keynes, a journey that should have been about thirty minutes but was a little longer due to an extra stop at Watford Junction being added. 390125 was the first Pendolino to have its mid-life refurbishment and refit completed. I spotted this straight away on entering the train due to its new moquette and carpeting. However, apart from the wireless charging point on the tabletop little else struck me as different. However, I did not notice the appalling smell in the vestibules, something that has plagued Pendolinos (and Voyagers for that matter) from their introduction appeared absent, so maybe this has finally be cured!
