With two dedicated Class 67s available to haul the Royal Train (67005 'Queen's Messenger' and 67006 'Royal Sovereign') somebody decided that the recently repainted 67007 should operate the train on this occasion! Close examination of the rather garish locomotive here seen at the rear of the train, with 67006 hauling out of sight on the front, reveals the Royal crest and the words 'Celebrating Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee 1952-2022'. The train was running empty to Scotland to collect the Royals and to then take them to King's Lynn the next day for their summer break at Sandringham. Running as 1Z64 I was not able to ascertain where exactly in Scotland the train was heading with no published information and a dearth of posts from observers!
