I took a walk (admittedly a short one!) from home after dinner to capture the returning Northern Belle charter from London Victoria to Manchester Victoria but it was a very grey and dark spring evening with spots of rain in the air. Even worse, the dark green liveried 47815 'Lost Boys 68-88' doing its best to camouflage itself had been mustered from somewhere down south to haul the return train following the failure of 57314 during the outward journey. The train is seen passing Roade the final vestiges of brightness in the evening sky seen in the background.
