We travelled on the 11.25 service from Northampton on 350231 which looks a little tatty at the front end. Along with a number of its classmates the Desiro seems to have had some poor quality yellow paint applied to the connecting doors that is flaking away. However, aesthetic maintenance of the 350/2 subset is probably not a priority as it is these that will be coming off-lease soon to be replaced by new units.
