47847 & 47843, stabled, UKRL depot In its British Railways and BR days, 47787 was shedded at various depots in the east and the north never being a locomotive that I spotted back in the 70s and 80s. In 1989 it was fitted with long-range fuel tanks and joined the dedicated InterCity pool.
