156498, stabled, Nottingham station Back in my spotting youth Nottingham station was always an exciting and varied place to visit with a myriad of classes on offer both hauling freight and passenger trains. However, today it has changed massively with only the odd non-passenger train and just units on offer. Traffic is sufficiently light such that units can be stabled on running lines around the station such is the case here with 156498. Apologies for the three hundred-foot tall chimney at Nottingham's Eastcroft incinerator emerging from the roof of the Class 156, very poor composition on my part!
